Have you ever been in a situation where it felt so right at the beginning, but it turned out to be very out of your expectation?

The phrase above is the highlight of my post today. It seems to us that we're likely getting certain situations under our control.

We tend to estimate that we likely achieve what we've expected, because we are pretty sure that we have nailed all those obstacles along our way. However, those expectation obviously turned out to be your biggest disappointment, and you began to questioning God and start to doubting His power.

It happened in our lives, where we thought God was providing the way and He opened every obstacle that got in the way to it. But unfortunately, we got it all wrong and we kept ourselves down, running away from reality.

It may not be the good answer for 'us', but it might be the best way according to 'Him'. Sometimes we wish and pray for the outcome that 'we' want, but we do not open chances for God to actually shows how He wants it to be.

To straight this up, we might want to consider of adding up something to our prayer, perhaps:

"Oh Lord, please give me strength for whatever the answer would be. If what I wish is not according to Your want, please teach me to accept it and never give up on You. Help me to become stronger, and show me the way that You want me to do."

Let's open up our heart, keep praying, and ask for His enlightenment. Sometimes God is being very nice that He might confers what is called miracle :)

Gooday peeps!

Just presented a new look for my bloggie, because it's new year. Does not seem like a reason indeed, but I just felt somehow the previous theme was so girlish and pretty. I did confess that I created it, though, but as the new year begins I feel more mature in quite certain areas. Ehm.

* For the first time in 2012, I become very organised in my laundry. It did happen today, as I just came back to Perth not more than a week. But it feels so good, your room does have space. I always thought my room was very small, could not even do spreadeagle on the floor. Hopefully this will keep going on every week throughout the year.

* Besides the laundry, I did some plans on weekly cooking, listing down the ingredients and go for the grocery. I found another winning method on spending my money wisely, instead of going crazy buying things, then you forgot that you've ever bought that until you found them as strangers, mouldy look.

* One more of a major improvement, is that I'm having my breakfast every morning. I used to have breakfast once or twice a week (That is why I've been told by one lecturer that I looked like a zombie every time I came to her tutorial. She guessed that I never had breakfast in the morning, and yes she got it right. Seriously, her class started at 8 am for the whole winter and I thank God I could wake up at 6:30 and caught bus on heavy rains and arrived on-time).

So, I do believe that if the Chinese says this year brings prosperity and good things, according to the animal sign of Dragon. I just wish those more improvement lists of mine can be shared here later on and not just stuck on this post for forever!

Hohoho this is exactly my very first post in 2012.

Nothing much updates in the beginning of the year, except that I'm currently off from Perth, having my holiday back home.
I'm not going to list any resolutions this year, as what I have listed last year didn't work much as I've expected. So, to begin this year I will just say that hard work is all what I have to work out now.

I'll soon to be graduating in less than 6 months, which twists my feeling whether I should feel happy, or sad, or scared. I keep asking myself pertinent questions whether I could get through this or not. Some side of me said I'm competent enough to do it, you've done your best in your uni stuff, but some side of myself said conflicting matter, as like you haven't been there yet, or adult's life is entirely perplex. Oh well, I really need to try my best this time, trying hard to cover the bad-thought-side of me.

And I'm currently in Indonesia, having my best precious time with my lovelies for only a short amount of time, apparently. But I guess I have to get use to the way of how you yearn for holidays much once you've get employed after graduation. I have a feeling that this year would turn everything just finer than last year. Hope you have this kind of feeling, too, and never give up on every single faith you have :)

To start this year, let's work hard and be inspired with one of the Eastern States of Australia, so-called Sydney. I wish I could move in there and get settled someday :D

I'm close enough to the-most-wanted holiday I've been longing for this whole break. It's one more week, ONE MORE, till I blow up my savings for Christmas present for me. No one's gonna buy me a present, so I buy it myself, lols.

I've been wanting a new iPhone. I didn't know why I end up altering my phone plan to Blackberry last time. Now it doesn't work at all, and I'm using my old iPhone again. I'm thinking of getting an iPod touch, which is not a bad idea though hehe.

Anyways, I just received Christmas presents from my lovely students and it's just very impressive. I wouldn't have thought of giving my piano teachers a Christmas present before, back in Indo, guess I was a bad student in considering.

In addition, I baked them cupcakes to give away. The funny thing that I could remember was, they were playing very nice, focussed and listened to every word I said, and that was the first time they worked out their best for the lesson. Eventually, they had seen the cupcakes on the table before the lesson, and they already had this little thought that I would give it to them lol.

It's a great feeling being involved with them, one of my best experience ever that I could have such wonderful and brilliant children here :)

Hands up if you're sweating like crazy right now! Not even right now, it's the whole day I've been trying to survive the heat. It's a horrible christmas for Oz people over here, we can't even expect for a white christmas, or a winter wonderland. BLAH!

I'm celebrating this heat with the so loveable Macaroni Cheese. I'm dead by cheese. I can say a farewell to diet, hohoho.

Well, it's obviously close to my most awaiting moment. Mom's coming next week. Yess, it's next week finally. We'll be spending christmas together with my sister and her boyfriend this time. Will be a great time together I reckon :)

And I've been telling myself gladly that I've moved on again. It's been a hard time, but I got the better strength from Him. He answered my prayer every night, and I know something's good is about to come. I'm not talking crap here, but I just know it :) It no longer matters what will happen, and it's all just about time, isn't it?

This time I don't completely understand of how I should put me in a right position. I still can't say that I'm strong enough to continue this myself. This is the point where I can't do anything about it and accept whatever that happened. As I have been thinking, I was really sorry and I still don't know whether it was the right decision to make. I know it doesn't really mean anything for now anymore, but it has been a precious moment where you were part of my life and where I thought I would never lose you. It's probably too late now and I always want you to be happy. That was always be the reason I'm holding on to you from the beginning. I wish I could see things in a bigger perspective, but I'm trying hard now not to be a narrow-minded person. This time has finally come, the biggest fear of my life it could ever be. I have to face it and I should not longer become a weak person. This is the point where my mind and heart battling so hard, figuring out the best way to overcome this and make it balance again, and yet I still couldn't find the way. I have done whatever I can, in every possible way, but then I realize again that this is the real answer and I should not ask for more. And this would ever be the last words I want to say, "thank you" :)

Firstly I want to say good luck for friends who are still having final exams. Keep trying and do your very best, let God do the rest :)

I believe in every hard work you did, you'll gain an achievement you've never expected before. Tee-hee...

Anyways, it's been my 3rd week of break and what I got is a load, bunch lists to do from work. But always thanking God for this that I got the chance of getting the hang of how actually accounts assistance and administration work feel like. I experienced Quickbooks as well! All I ever knew was I heard accounting people using it, and it's popular. So I'm having a big smile inside that I can actually operate it myself. Hohoho. Not a big achievement though, but still. At least I know I could fix my failure in accounting in past experience for now.

I'm also preparing myself for the final year project at uni that I'll be doing next semester. Can't believe it's my real final semester next year. I'm praying hard so that I would be in a group of good students, have a nice client for the project, and I have a feeling that I should learn the programming again during the holiday... Or, if I'm being accepted for the Professional Practice (hopefully I make it!), my dream of becoming a full timer at the CBD would become reality... *keep my finger crossed*

And, a big annual concert of my music company are coming up next week. I've pretty much coped up with stress for some of my students that keep asking silly questions like:

"What I'm going to play again for the recital? I completely forgot." or

"What does concert mean? I don't get that." OR

"So... I'm doing the piece, and you're gonna be watching me? Aren't you supposed to be teaching me?"

*speechless*

However, they are all awesome kids after all :) I'm going to make them cupcakes for christmas present, I hope it'll turn well.

And for me myself, I'm going to perform a duet with boss. Hopefully I could cope with the pressure, lols.

And, it's exactly 4 weeks for mom's coming and Sydney. Then home. Then (hopefully) Singapore :)

And, I still think that I shouldn't have let it happened from the beginning. But I still survive. I don't want to give up, I never want to. I'm just hoping for the best to come, through God :)

I've been a wreck lately. I finished my exams, the very last exams of my degree, but I'm supposed to be jumping and running around to celebrate this. Instead I found myself crying out, hiding in the corner of my bedroom every night, hiding from the reality that I wish it would never happen. I've never been like this and I don't know why. I lost one more person who is too important to me and there's nothing I can do. There's nothing I can do to make you stay and I can just say, here I am, I'll try my very best for your happiness :)

You've been my precious gift and I learnt everything of life lesson because of you.

When you have limited stock of food in your pantry (like I do over these past few weeks), I could not afford of buying fancy food, even from the supermarket, I can finally survive on this.

Dear you,

I think I'm taking the right path now. I didn't know what I was waiting this whole year, for some magic or miracle to happen but I know now it wouldn't change. It will always stay like that, and I've been blinded. I've now found a missing piece I've been looking for. Now I also realize that I've been missing you, so much. If this are going well, I know that I won't let it go again. I've been pretty sure with my option, and what I can do now is to convince you that I'm purely in love again. I can ensure you that it won't be happening again. I guess all the things have been a set of examinations for us to learn to grow up. I wish I can prove that I'm being better now and still trying the best I can, and I hope you do to. There are always ways to kill the distance, as long as our hearts remain stronger than before. Quick updates of my routine in these couple of weeks.

~ Just survived 4 mid-semester tests and ended with not-really-satisfying result.
~ Currently got two loving dates with proposal report and database script assignments.
~ The most annoying programming lab test is just a week away. Cr*p!
~ FINAL EXAMS are 3 weeks away.
~ Due to those madness mentioned above, I ate so-inappropriate food. I even barely smelled the just cooked rice in the rice cooker in the past two weeks. GRRRR!

Despite the negativities...

~ I finally watched The Idea of North in their new album launch last week and as I could imagine. It rocks. Spell R.O.C.K.S. Can't wait for their Christmas album in release!
~ It's around 40ish days away to home.
~ It's around 70ish days away to Sydney and Christmas.
(What a combo!)

I tried so hard not to ranting about more stuff here. Life has been awesome lately, and I guess it's just the matter of time and all of that efforts if I can be bothered.
No photography this time as I spent most of my precious days at the bedroom.

At the time I wrote this post, I was thinking of this could be the hardest part of my life. Well, at least for now. Who knows what I'm going to face in the near future or even plans further up.

This is also the first time I miss my family back home so bad. It sometimes feels weird, when I suddenly thought of visiting grandma when I talked with mom on the phone, but it's like miles away, crossing continents that I wanna shout out, "Can't I be rich and book tickets home whenever I want?". I miss my best friends too, thinking of having a getaway with them someday. As we have grown up together now I couldn't say how good it is to have a chat with them, not as a high schooler who only talks about boyfriend, ex, homeworks, and so forth. If I'm being asked, whether I wanted to go back to high school times, then I would say, no thanks. I'm pretty comfortable with my life now. Taking a step up from a teenager to a fully grown up woman, I'm probably in the transition of them. I can see how big the changes have happened, like really. I was being selfish, I had such a bad temper, I didn't want to lose, I didn't care much of people, I talked craps, I took everything in shortcut, and many more I couldn't even remember. I can see life has taught me to care more and appreciate all people around you. It's beautiful to see how we can love people around us and they will eventually love us back. Love, is probably who plays the main role. Being 20 is where the process starts to make you ready and fully prepared for the next couple of years. It doesn't matter if I have to face the future all by myself and being parted from my family, or having to be a single for now. I want to be completely a single, until I feel that I can live by myself then I have reached what it takes to be a single. By the time I can be a whole single, shatterproof, then it's the sign of readiness. What leads me to my condition right now, would be the continuously support and love from my family and friends, back home and here. For everyone who feels the same way as I do, let us give thanks to God that He gave us this way to make us stronger and good things always come to those who faithfully wait in Him :)

Been attempting to chase around and play hide and seek with the so-called study motivation.

It's 3 days to the scariest and most terrifying lab test of this unit that spamming my body, mind, and soul. I know that I'm supposed to be geek-ing in front of my laptop right now, instead of wasting time writing about my procrastination here.

Oh well.

I might continue the proposal report first, then start my study later. Oh, now I remember that I should cook for the fundraising tomorrow. Maybe tomorrow would be the best time?
Yes, tomorrow it is, after getting back from church then I'll study.

*Straight after I finished the line there, mom showed in Skype and yelled and bragged at me. She even noticed just by looking at my face smiling around and making stupid imaginary expression.

I'm off for now, before I get caught again writing stupid stuff and get trapped in this procrastination limbo.

I'm officially welcoming September, the beginning of spring, but tons of Uni stuff is about to rising up to the surface. Two tests will be coming next week, two more after the week break, two assignments coming up at the end of the month. asdfaksdjf#@F54%^&

I couldn't stop counting down to a getaway, meeting mom and dad, and friends. And it's probably the last time I could go back home, considering the cr*ppy permanent residency stuff that becomes more impossible (read: IMPOSSIBLE).

Forget about the busyness for a while. I started to love this spring collection from Frankie mags. Not to mention that Frankie makes it engrossing with their photos and designs, that makes me even more engulfed in the media and design fad.

It has been a tough week for everyone I suppose, and let's just not stop trying our best. He would walk together in pace, until we reach the final line where you can feel that there are no more things to worry about. So, let's keep the spirit on :)

I just got back from watching Jane Eyre with my housemates. For you who've never heard of it, it's one of the english classic novel collections by Charlotte Bronte (who I guess she's the sister of Emily Bronte, who wrote the Wuthering Heights, which is one of the famous english novels as well *Ok I'm done talking*).

Anyway, the story is about an orphan named Jane, who lost both of her parents when she was baby, and were raised by her aunt and uncle. She was treated unequally with her cousins, her head was even beaten to the wall by her sarcastic dumb cousin. She was finally sent to the Lockwood school, to get educated to be some kind like a governess or servant I guess (I did a lot of guessing in this movie though, due to the lack of proper British english, and no captions available).

And she finally grew up, and she worked as a governess to teach a little french girl in a private household. There she met and fell for a man who unfortunately had got married 15 years ago, and he locked up his wife in a secret room, in which Jane thought that there was something ghosty that haunted the house.
After she found out the truth, she left and ran away until a kind young man found her almost dried up, and brought her home and she was given a place to stay with his two-same-aged sisters.

Anyway skip to the ending.

It was like a typical movie where we all thought she would fall in love again with this young man who was way better than her previous love. But we got it all wrong. Unfortunately she was the heiress of the wealth of his uncle Madeira, he left 20,000 pounds for her. She begged to be one of the young man's sisters because she was always alone, and gave them 5,000 pounds each. Then she went to the old house and she was surprised that it was burnt, nobody knew how the fire were set up a year ago. Then she finally found her man of love at the backyard, bearded all over his face, and he turned blind...

I can't seem to get rid of this thought. It haunts me every night and I hate it so much that I really wish everything did not ever happen. I hate it when something keeps reminding me of the past. There is no one to blame, really. All I can blame is just me, for not able to leave the past behind. I couldn't blame people for changing, and I believe they were just showing who they really are. I once thought that it might be one of them who would stay and fight till the end, but my thought did not seem to be the right answer. There once a saying, "Don't leave something good to see if you can find better, because once you realize you had the best, the best found better." Thousand of questions fulfilling my head, asking when the right time for the 'better' one to come. I don't seem to fully aware of any hurdles it might lead, but all I ever wanted is to go back in time, when it did not completely seem to be a big matter. I'm lost and desperate. I can't position myself in a right place. I almost get to the final line where I seem to lose faith of whether true love even exists...
Does it really happen?
Or is it just an imaginary plain dream you ever had in your head?

Me and my cousin met just a week ago, and it was a really special day for us to be able to escape and celebrate our freedom from duty to work.
We pondered about what to have for lunch, was it asian or western. And it came to a decision to give a go at Etro Cafe at Kings Street.

I kept my taste on the Risotto Special that day, the Chicken and Mushroom risotto, which I ever had the other day with Brenda and Inez.

The best risotto I ever had I guess, since I haven't found one like this except for the Seafood Risotto at Ciao Italia I had last time. It came with a large plate, and the risotto seemed to be in a very small portion as compared to the other Italian dishes around. But I can ensure you that you will have more than enough to finish it. What's more, you can also get a coffee with it for only $20.00 with their so-called "Lovely Lunch" deal.

My cousin ordered the pasta of the day, which was the Fettucini with sundried tomato, basil, parmesan, olives and so many more contained inside the dish.

It was good though, but the Risotto had won the award that day :D

The taste was quite simple and nothing extraordinary for the dish. But I should say that the sundried tomato had rocked my tongue. They were marinated with the basil which made the taste rich and add something strong to the plain fettucini.

But overall it was a good place I reckon. The coffee was fantastic and they were all in a reasonable price. I didn't remember to take picture of the place, and again they were taken with my iPhone and I was surprised that the pictures are not too bad. Oh yeah my Phonnie rocks! :D

Last week had been my very last trip, sitting on a 7 hours train to Kalgoorlie. It has been my third times since the last time me and my mom had last year. Nothing pretty much to change, and Kal was actually not too bad. Compare it with Bunburry, or say Albany. The same 6 hours trip, but instead of going down south, you go far to the east. It's not close to the sea, but you absolutely reside on a soil full of gold, how cool is that? In fact, you can sometimes feel the ground shaking, but it's not an earthquake that you need to run outside your house, you can bear in mind that it must be the explosion from the Superpit. Every explosion, means the found of golds.

They were all taken during my return trip and were using an iPhone camera. Still haven't got the proper one, hopefully could get it next month :D

And I even forgot to take the last picture with my sister, because we were busy finding pubs and restaurants. The buffet in the pubs were amazingly nice, too.

Dear sissy, have a lovely trip to Sydney tomorrow! Beware of the Snowtown stories they told us, and keep praying and drive safe.

I came home from work that day

It was raining heavily and a cold winter night

I ran to my bed straight away, had a little rest for my body

Then I remembered I hadn't got dinner

So I went to the kitchen, tried to find something to cook

I sat down on the couch, had my dinner while watching tv

It was me all alone in the house

Then I finished my dinner, washed the dishes

and took a long warm bath

It was a really nice feeling I got, then I hid under my blanket,

with my notebook on my lap

I was exhausted and I started to have this kinda feeling

I don't wanna say that I was lonely

I never feel lonely, but it's not that I enjoy being alone

I'd really love to have my friends, family, or someone to sat

and had an exciting convo

I really wished I could have a moment

when you let go of everything that burdens,

Melihat keadaan page blog saya yang gersang dan kering kerontang ini, akhirnya saya bisa mengepost sesuatu lagi didalamnya.
Baru saja dapet tag award dari creator Bloggie Wonderland, yang tak lain dan tak bukan adalah Eveline Indra. Makasihh Linch sudah membaca blog gw yang ngga seberapa ini :D

Jadi, saya ingin bercerita tentang 10 fakta seputar saya dan sekitarnya.

1. Saya cuman pernah punya 2 guling seumur hidup selama 20 tahun. Salah satunya setelah saya berangkat ke Perth 2.5 tahun yang lalu, dengan berat hati harus beli guling baru (Memalukan ya saya, tapi beneran ngga bisa tidur kalo ngga cium guling sendiri).

2. Penggemar berat dan punya koleksi lengkap film Sailor Moon dan Barbie series.

3. Ngga pernah bisa pelajaran MATEMATIKA, terutama geometri.

4. Ngga bisa hidup tanpa kopi (Satu-satunya yang bisa ngereplace kopi adalah Green Tea Latte).

5. Punya mimpi dan cita-cita sedari kecil jadi ibu rumah tangga. Tapi seiring berkembangnya usia saya pengen jadi wanita karir sekaligus ibu rumah tangga dan ngajar piano di rumah.

6. Not a very big fan of cats and dogs, dan berbagai macam serangga lainnya (Tapi tetep pecinta hewan lho, asal nggak deket nempel di kaki aja).

7. Demen banget yang namanya pesawat terbang dan segala macam yang berhubungan sama pesawat dan airport.

8. Selalu ngimpi tentang prince dan princess yang jatuh cinta lalu menikah. Gw rasa karna kebanyakan nonton Barbie sih yang ini, tapi suer hampir tiap hari mikirin yang beginian.

9. Seumur hidup dari kecil sampe SMA kelas 1 selalu berambut pendek, nggak nanggung kayak laki-laki.

10. Cuman punya satu kakak tapi sering berantem waktu kecil, dari jambak-jambakan, tendang-tendangan, dan pukul-pukulan pake bantal. Baru sekarang sadar bahwa kita masing-masing saling membutuhkan. #ehmgeernggayadiakalobaca

Yielloow peeps!

It's the beginning of July, and the months have passed by with a blink. Who agree with me?
Anndd... Uni result is about to come out in 3 days, but my heart already starts pounding ever since I opened the oasis to check out emails and notifications regarding my results or sort of stuff.
Let us pray for the best to our results, I believe everyone did really well during the semester :)

Oh, the current progress of the savings for camera is half way through. I wouldn't talk crap anymore when I say that I would save my money for a camera, but turned out that I spent the money for clothes and shoes.
My goal for this is to be able to get it by the end of the year, before the end of year holiday. Excited much for this one!

I'm not uploading photos this time, due to my super lame digital camera that I wanna throw it away sometimes.

Anyway, welcoming the Semester 2 in uni. I'm so stressed out of not getting even 1 HD in this current semester, as I know already that next semester would be a cr*ppy semester in my entire life ever. I finished all the Info System subjects, and there are several IT subjects left in my cores. Two of them would be programming, and two others are the final year projects. I can just leave everything to God, especially when it comes to the logic to get the program works. Gaarrggh...

Good evening peeps.

(Just realised I keep saying Nitey or Good Evening here, even when I put brekkie pictures on my posts. But I'm getting back now to my long lost daily routine of staying tuned late up until 1 or 2am)

Anyhow, this morning was quite cold and I prefer to stay for another 30 minutes under my blanket. It was tremendously a pleasant spot there which I suppose everyone would enjoy that aura...

So I decided to make oatmeal with caramelized apple.

Small cuts of fuji apple, and you're gonna need to cook it with butter and sugar to caramelize them.

Bring to cook around 20 minutes until they turn golden brown.

I just did an alteration to soy milk these few weeks and I see it's good. I'm not ready to change my regular coffee to soy latte yet though haha.

A sprinkle of cinnamon sugar always be a perfect blend :)

My study progress ----> only 10% out of 110% I guess. *still breathe in and out again*

I just completely stuff my whole day up studying for the crappy exams in 1.5 weeks. Seriously I was thinking to procrastinate for a week or so and start the study-till-dead thingy just a week before. I just flipped through the pages of a bunch of lecture notes building up to nearly the same as Mount Everest on my desk, and I was surrounded in a shocking ambience and can't stop my mouth from open for several minutes. It's around 98-150 slides a chapter to memorize (read: no graphs, no illustrations, no pictures or whatsoever, just words all over from start till the end).

*stress overload*

Aside from my study motivation, I always spare my time to cook for my lunch and dinner. A justifiable reason as I have to cook in order not to dine out. I found this crazy idea this afternoon in the middle of my study. I tell you a post-groceries-syndrome of mine. In the middle of endeavouring to get the hang of what 'service asset and configuration management' means, my right brain told me to figure out what I should do to the chicken I bought yesterday. And I finally came up with this idea of making tomato puree with sweet soya sauce which is unexpectedly nice :D

I'll pray for everyone all the best for the final exam next week. May God's blessing be upon us all :)

Ehem. Maap tapi saya sedang sangat heppi saat ini. Dikarenakan karena oleh sebab batere laptop merah menyala saya sudah kembali normal :D
Begitu terharu ketika melihat persen si batere semakin berkurang, karena sebelumnya mentok aja gitu 50 persen, kagak nambah kagak kurang. Dicharge berhari-hari juga teteeeep aja 50 persen ato 'Not Charging'.

Bagi kalian kalian yang melihat tanda seperti itu, atau 'Service Battery' boleh menghubungi saya, karena sudah sangat familiar sekali kata kata itu buat saya.
Wuetts, jangan langsung panik, karena sebenernya nggak rusak kok. Cuman kalo yang dicharge berhari hari kagak berubah2 juga boleh dibawa ke klinik apel terdekat, dan jikalau beruntung anda nggak perlu bayar atau lebih beruntung lagi laptop anda harus rawat inap (Kenapa beruntung? Karena kalian punya alasan untung nggak bikin esenmen, kurang beruntung apalagi bukan?)

Baju baru buat si putih :D

Akhirnya 44% juga setelah hampir 3 minggu 50%.

Pokoknya saya bahagia bahagia sueeenaanangnangnang! Karena akhirnya juga bisa kerjain esenmen tanpa harus pinjem laptop Wenwen :D #maap tapi pernyataan diatas tentang keberuntungan hanyalah fiktif belaka. Saya kuatir karena esenmennya worth 40% dan due Jumat depan :( :(

12:15am - Turned around my brain, figuring out how to manage the very last little session.

I'm currently having a green tea, my chilli red laptop on my lap, brownies on my desk, and Jack & Rai on my iTunes.
Now, I'm ready to stay up late. Hopefully. Well, at least for another 30 minutes.
It's getting there though, the very little session of part 1. Yes, I can finish it in 15 minutes. And getting ready for my bed.

Di tengah pembelajaran presentasi buat besok, betapa ngga konsennya gw dengan slides didepan mata. Hmm, kok rasanya pengen makan coklat ya ato yang manis-manis aja gitu, pasti bisa konsen lagi kata perasaan gw dalam hati.

Akhirnya gw bukalah cokelat Humpty Dumpty yang gw peroleh dari Easter bulan lalu. *krecek krecek

Gw mikir, kenapa ini cokelat bisa ada bunyi nya sih. Lalu gw bunyi-bunyikan lah terus sambil main iramanya Roma Irama dan berlangsung selama 15 menit gw bermain-main dengan si cokelat.
Akhirnya gw buka bungkusnya, gw pletak-in lah si cokelat telur. Aduh kok sayang ya, akhirnya pecahlah si Humpty Dumpty si cokelat kesayangan gw.

Ternyata punya ternyata didalemnya terdapat M&Ms. Dengan rasa lebih menyesalnya lagi gw pecahin si cokelat telur. Ngga ada yang tau betapa gilanya gw dengan M&Ms, dan disaat posting dedikasi gw buat si cokelat telur ini ditulis, itu M&Ms udah nggak bersisa.

Good evening, peeps.

Where have I been lately? I'm not going around actually, instead I open my blogger account every day and click the refresh button to see if there's any new post from my friends and other posts from the blogs I follow. I'm thinking if I own a DSLR right now I'll be going out everyday, having a me time in a cafe, taking pictures of the treat, and spending time in the north of Perth for cute appealing vintage stuff.

What about my uni progress? It sucks. I'm only prepared with feeble excuses and still struggling to find one that would explain the indolence. I have 3 assignments due in May and I'm still happily procrastinating, writing stuff on my blog, browsing for clothes, camera, and making plans for which I should save up. Perhaps camera. Yes, a DSLR it is. I can yell out tons of reasons of not doing my assignment, instead, doing cool stuff.
I've been so unproductive lately. I used to spend my spare times baking cakes and cookies. Now I don't bake. Blame my savings account. Been dining out terribly often these days, not even critically thinking of people in Japan :(

Anyway, I'll be spending my time studying and teaching. Phew, I become a teacher? What would my students be later? Lol just kidding. I love children and I promise them a bright future career once they grow up :D Unfortunately I was trying to find out the buses timetable for tomorrow morning to get my very first training at Wembley at 9:30 and I found out that tomorrow is still a public holiday.
Man, I couldn't even speak of anything when I tried to click on the trip plan at every hour on Google Maps and my lovely buses that go to Wembley do not operate AT ALL tomorrow. #yelly-cr*ppy
So what I have to do is take the train to Subi and have a 17 mins walk to Wembley. I should have eaten a lot today that I will be burning my fat and having a sweaty walk. But anyway, I guess it's fun though, hopefully.

Gotta back to my assignments now. Current power of eyelid ---> 0.5W

Bersama Inez dan Callista pergilah kita menuju Claremont. Baruuuu aja abis beresin tugas-tugas minggu ini udah berasa lepas dari segala-galanya.
Karna perut udah kayak mercon duar duer duar jedeerr bunyinya, mampirlah kita ke Iku Sushi buat lunchie.
Baru pertama kali kesana udah langsung jatuh cinta sama makanannya.

Si Udon Jawara Callista yang supnya juwara enaknya

Sehabis perut kenyang puol, menujulah kita ke Claremont dengan tujuan membenarkan biola Callista yang keadaannya sedikit mengenaskan. Jumlah senar cuman ada 2, dengan tidak adanya bow untuk menggesek.
Pergilah kita ke Zenith Music. Tokonya gueeedeeee mamaaaaaa! Ada 2 lantai buat piano diatas dan biola, woodwind, brass, ukulele, gitar di lantai paling bawah. Senar-senar dari gitar sampe biola dijejerin satu dinding.
Beginilah kira-kira percakapan kita dengan si penjual biola:

Callista: "Can I have a set of strings and a bow please?"
Si Om: "Of course you can. Hang on, for this violin you don't need the expensive set though. This would do."
(Dia ngeluarin merk Pirastro Tonica)
Callista: "How much is it?"
Si Om: "$80."
Saya: "Do you have the cheaper one than this?" (Maap ini terlalu mahal buat student dan kita terikut budaya Cina).
Si Om: "Yes, perhaps this one, $45."
Callista: "Mahal kali Cinnnn!"

Habis dipasang tuh, si Om mau ambil bow-nya. Beginilah percakapannya:

Si Om: "Okay, now the bow."
Callista: "How much is it for the bow?"
Si Om: "$70."
Callista: "Cinnnn mahal kali! Bokek aku."
Saya: "Do you have the cheaper one than this?"
Si Om: "No, this is the cheapest one. The real bow is around $1,000 to $2,000."
Callista dan saya : (Hahhhh, real bow? Emang dia kate yang ini maen-maenan?!)
Lalu dengan terdiam kita pun bayar string dan bow masing-masing dan jalan keluar dengan tertunduk malu.
Malu nggak sih bow semuanya nanya yang serba murah meriah banyak.

Lalu jalanlah kita ke Claremont Quarter. Sepanjang jalan pada ngeliatin toko-toko sepatu yang harganya selangit-langit.
Namun, semuanya kembali senang habis ngeif di Koko Black.

Every so often, I simply cry when the weariness and doubtful thoughts come to knock in my door of heart.

It is when you think that you are in between of downfall and happiness, but you're not there yet. I need a booster, a vitamin, to buoy up and invigorates every dry particle that leads me to life predicaments.

Nggak pernah terasa waktu itu cepat berlalu ya. Kayaknya baru beberapa bulan yang laluuu aja masuk tahun pertama uni. Eh sekarang udah mau lulus aja (walaupun kalo diitung-itung gw masi ada 2 semester lagi kalo semester yang ini lulus semua, amin ya amit-amit deh kalo ngga lulus #tepukkayu).

Semakin waktu graduation dateng sekilas pengeeeennn banget rasanya bisa graduate cepet-cepet, mengingat assignment-assignment yang dateng seubrek-ubrek banyaknya kayak baju setrikaan. Dimana kalo udah menumpuk malah makin males dan capeknya udah pol pol-an. Kalo udah setres-setresnya nih paling sering ngeluh, "Aduh Tuhan, kenapa tugas-tugas saya nggak selesai-selesai ya? Saya pengen cepet tamat aja deh."

Tapi menginjak usia saya yang semakin bertambah tahun ini, mata gw seakan terbuka. Terbuka bak buka-bukaan *apa coba?

Gw mulai merasa beban-beban yang hampir ngga kuat lagi untuk dipikirin dari sekarang. Sekarang aja ngga kuat apalagi entar yang bakal dialamin ya. Dimana gw harus berjuang cari kerja, nabung, belum lagi urusan PR yang paling bikin emosi naik sampe titik didih dan titik lebur. Ya oloh mikirinnya dari sekarang sampe keringet dingin.

Gw juga takut di keadaan dimana keluarga ngga ada deket di sekitar, ngga ada yang ngedukung ato kasi seport dari belakang. Ngga ada yang kasih motivasi belajar dan semangat lagi. Walaupun sekarang masi banyak temen-temen, tapi well people go and have their own life sooner or later. Ngga bisa terus-terusan depend sama orang-orang disekitar kita.

Belom lagi ditambah segala kesedihan, pikiran-pikiran dan masalah yang mengganjel yang sering dateng walaupun ngga diundang. Saya sering bawa segalanya dalam doa, dan percayain semuanya ke Tuhan dan saat itu hati bisa tenang. Tapi ada kalanya dimana rasanya semuanya pengen kembali ke dulu aja, ngga berani dan ngga sabar pengin melihat gimana jalan kedepan.

Tapi gw pengen mengubah diri sendiri yang lemah dan tetot ini. Saya selalu mohon sama Tuhan untuk dibukakan jalan, jika sesuai dengan kehendak-Nya. Dan saya masih percaya tanpa ragu, Dia akan senantiasa membimbing jalan kita anak-anakNya.

Untuk teman-teman seperantauan yang juga merasakan hal seperti saya, jangan pernah ragu untuk selalu berdoa, karena doa adalah kekuatan kita :)

Hang on. I know you might think that I'm so sinful of making this dessert during the lent. But, really, I made this 2 days before the Wednesday Ash, and just uploaded the photos to my laptop today.
Peeps, do you know that Kahlua tastes really good? I mean it's literally excellent. You definitely may want to consider Kahlua or Irish Cream in your attempt on Tiramisu :)

The lenten period finally starts tomorrow, on the Wed Ash. I'm pondering what to give up this year and finally I've come to several lists below:

Meat.
The most first top of the list of food I suppose. At the previous years of lent I only gave up for not eating meat on Wednesday and Friday for which now I realize how unfaithful I was to the lenten discipline :( but now I think I can survive. Good news that I start to not crave for beef or pork these days, which means I could be a vegetarian this whole lent. Yieeyy! Been fully prepared with lots of veggies from the current groceries shopping :D

Junk food, dessert and friends.
I've been making and eating desserts since I started my life here this year, and I have been so active lately due to the sugar supply to my body I guess. Thank God that I could have a chance to give up all of those guilty pleasures and just having my green tea in my chinese teapot set. Love it!

Which means no creme brulee, skinny mocha, or caramel latte this whole lent. If it works, maybe I could continue to stop consuming coffee even after the lent ends. No one knows how big my desire for coffee is, which I think I could beat the fathers who take their daily intake of coffee everyday.

I really don't wanna write this word. Oh my.
How many of you would decide to fast for the internet? Which means no facebook, twitter, or blogging for the whole 40 days.
I do really wish I could do that, but to imagine life without internet would be living in a 10th century again (like I know how the 10th century looked like), so with my deep apology to God I decided to minimize the internet usage to the most minimum line. I'll most probably stop checking twitter and facebook from my Blackberrry commence tomorrow.

I just wish for everyone to be more blessed in all of your efforts on this lenten period. May God be with you always, peeps! :)

Hello March!

The first thing I'm going to put in my to-do-list this month would be saving up. Definitely on the top of the very top of the list.

Ah, I need to practice a lot the piano exam materials. This is insanely crazy that I should browse for those Italian terms again since the Grade 5 theory examination, like 4 years ago? I completely forgot what the tonic or plagal cadence sounded like. It's 6 months left to the examination, call me crazy.

The lenten period also starts in the month, and I promise myself to take it seriously. This is for others and my own good, and am hoping I'll get the answer to my prayer soon :)

Study and a lot more studies should be undertaken. I'm trying really hard to get what the teacher said on my first day of uni, not like I used to be where I didn't panic to not even downloaded the lecture materials. I want go seriously catching my dream of working in the city, or at least get a good job so I don't have to depend on others for living. I perfectly know that working sucks as compared to uni, but you'll always be cheered up on the pay day, am I right?

The ICYO Music Camp is around the corner, and everything that has been assigned to me must run as planned. Thanks for the committees for letting me to improve my cooking skill hahaha. It's a step forward to enhance the future though :P

Lastly, I've gone ice skating with friends twice! I thought I'd never touch the ice again since the closing of ice arena back home. Finger crossed for my cousins that he would willingly bring along my skates here at the end of the month (Koh, plis dibawain ya Ko plis ya Ko ya #mukakesian).

It's 6 more sleeps count before I have to attend (again) classes, mid-semester tests, assignments, and their so called final exams. My current study motivation has dropped to zero point, affected by the don't-want-to-end-this-holiday syndrom. #sighsighsigh

But anyway, this has been a wonderful holiday in thorough. I'm glad to be able to catch up with high school besties <3, stealing some delightful dish recipes from mom, teaching dad how to use a Blackberry, napping at grandma's house, getting a free accommodation for 2 days plus shoes from sissy, hanging out with friends here, getting chilled in malls, and so on :D

Despite all the encumbrances, there will be tons of exciting events coming up this year. One of them which I thought really affecting, I just need to undertake 3 subjects every semester now on. Oh yes, I can smell a little relaxing moment in between.

I almost reach that goal line but what will I get once I step on it? Still a blur.
There is surely a great effort and perseverance in job finding game and now I think I can feel it. When you think you are good enough, but you don't.
What will I do in the future once I graduate? I will never know. I can just hope and pray to God for everything best.
Another choice to make, should I move to Sydney with my sister and continue living under supervision, or should I stay. Sydney or Perth? I would really love to say Perth in my loudest sound or until I breathe at the maximum capacity, but one thing I'm confident enough to say is that I would never regret it.
Comparing the population between those cities? I don't really mind staying in the so called rural area city, as most people complain about it. I still can say that I'm glad to be able to live in Perth and go for our big, one-of-a-kind dream with Wendy. Finding a good job here in the CBD, get dressed in Cue or Sportscraft brand with heels, having lunch with colleagues, and the most thing I wish is that I could walk to work with my future husband together every morning, and get home together (at least before I get to become a housewife doing chores and stuff, which still be my fun :P).
Well, still can't decide and we'll see how it goes as the time passes by.

And for married, engaged, and in-a-relationship people, I just wanna say congratulations you make it until this far.
Singles? Be happy, or at least try to :)

Hari Rebo tanggal 10 February 2011, hari bersejarah penuh gula dan lemak sedunia.
Yah kasilah ya minced beef-nya ngga ada lemaknya kok, trus ada sayur mayur garnish. Untuk mashed potato, yah taroklah susunya skim milk plus parmesan dikittttt aja.

Begitulah cara gue menghibur diri setiap abis masak. Belom lagi cemal-cemilnya yang mungkin bakal di-posted sesudah ini hehehe.

Breakfast could be fun though. Put out bread loaf you got, beat an egg, pour in a little bit of milk, add a teaspoon of vanilla extract.
Soak the bread to the egg mixture, and fry on low heat with butter. Sift icing sugar. Voila! :D

Every path on my way to 20 has put me on million of choices. I am no longer being ruled, being told what to do, being taught a discipline, and what a little girl should have gotten from their mothers.

I've finally passed and gone through high school, studied, died for good marks, grounded for being home too late, was in a relationship, but now all things have been completely different as compared to back then. All things seemed to be very simple, pondering decisions for never more than 20 seconds. I am now tend to not fantasize things and forced to face what is happening from now ahead. I start to relate things with quotes, which I most believe I can rely on them. I don't like giving up, hence I try to take every risk on what I decide to do. I am an absolute firm believer of God. I know whatever I choose, whatever path I take, whatever way I choose to feel, He will help and grant what you obviously need.

I believe everything would turn out beautiful by His time. If it's meant to be, then it will be.

Had an attempt and crave for the Junior Masterchef recipe book I bought at Coles yesterday, me and Wendy came up with this Mocha Self Saucing Pudding which is supposed to be Hazelnut Chocolate Pudding but it turned out that we didn't have hazelnut and finally had it replaced with coffee granules haha.

It was a bit bitter and sugarless until we decided to make custard saucing, put a shot of Tia Maria and it was a perfect combination :)

It's been 4 days, err 5, count today, these flu symptoms pass through my blood system. Been drinking half bottle of cough liquid expectorant, yet it's just a catalyst to the virus I guess.

Is it possible that I got tuberculosis? Or the "100 days cough" like most people call it that way?

Anyway, anywho, 9 days left to reality. What do I call reality?
The reality that I should concern on my breakfast, lunch, and dinner, wash my clothes, take them out from the hanger, iron them, walk on foot, catch the bus, get tanned by the sun while waiting the d*mn bus to come on time, study, procrastinate for assignments, and so on.

Currently packing for stuff, and still pondering of what I should pack in and what I shouldn't. BLAH!

And oh, we just succeeded making pasta with the girls today. Was thinking to make Lasagna, but turned out that we couldn't find any Lasagna layer skin out there.
But it was so much fun, and the girls rocked :) thank you for making my holiday, the best summer holiday in the entire world ever!

A box that sounds.

Have you ever heard a shrieking sound yet delicately flows and perfect in the tunes? A box that made of wood, combined with nylon strings, tuning pegs, tailpiece, and fingerboard. Sounded with a horse-tail-made bow with the winding, ferule, frog, and tension crew.

It can only produce the originally basic notes G, D, A, and E.

Why most people choose this instrument to master?

As for me myself, I began my interest in an orchestra since 10 years old. The first symphony that I watched was performed by the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra. I was playing around with my barbie dolls, when my sister turned the TV to this Gala Concert of Tchaikovsky's Violin Concerto in D Major.

I heard them when the tuning started, until the soloist jumped to the 3rd movement. I was like "Mom, I wanna learn to play violin." And it turned out for me to learn piano instead, due to the worrisome of some parents that their kids would have a bad back and neck structure if they hold violin for prolonged period on their left shoulder.

Well, I was granted my wish to learn violin after a year I had been with piano. It was like 4 years after I stopped and moved to Australia for further study.

It may be a bit hard to learn as compared to piano, but feeling and passion play the main roles. It is not like a guitar, in which each note has already been on its place; you determine the exact position of each note with your fingers as the point.

The most legendary composers, which I absolutely salute to:

* Peter Ilyich Tchaikovsky

A Russian composer from Romantic era. Composes concertos for ballet, symphonies, and operas. Believed that he's a homosexual due to the marriage disaster that he suffered.

Most favourite pieces: Overture 1812, The Four Seasons Concerto, and Violin Concerto in D Major.

* Ludwig Van Beethoven

A German composer and a pianist between classical and romantic era. A student of Mozart. Had a deteriorated hearing, but still composed and conducted even when he was completely deaf.

Most favourite pieces: Symphony No.7, Symphony No.9, Violin Concerto in G Major (Spring).

* Sergei Rachmaninoff

A Russian composer, conductor and pianist in late romantic era. His piano writing contains idiom, expression, and ingenuity. Most of the pieces are fast and in rich tonal.

Most favourite piece: Piano Concerto No. 2.

Classical music means a lot, and it expresses million feelings in just one piece. Sensitivity and characteristic are built in those who play instrument or sing.

One wish that I really totally terribly wish for is that, I wish I were able to watch a live orchestra in a huge concert hall with a real Symphony Orchestra at the front row, or balcony will do.

I'm dying for a seat at Perth Concert Hall and always have a chance to stop by and take a peak from outside whenever my bus stops.

Someday. Someday I will be able to.

Too many things happened in 2010. I laughed hard, I smiled, I cried so hard, I tried and failed, I did the best but came out unexpected.
But overall, it has been an extraordinary, most precious gifts for me to learn that I must not give up every single thing that I've built. Family, friends, people, they are sent to you from God, for either you learn from them or they'll be with you till the end. What I've been through these thorough months, probably the hardest, most hurting, yet the sweetest thing I can endure at the end.
What I wish for new year? Better in every aspects, commit to what I started, improve the intimate relationship that I've built to God, try harder in anything, and live like there's no tomorrow. Hope and belief would probably me. I always, truly hope for everything the best to happen in 2011.

I wish you all a Happy New Year. Be tough, strong, and have faith.

Gue sedang terduduk di tempat tidur dengan laptop di paha. Tab-tab facebook, twitter, dan website-website lainnya terpampang, tapi teteeepp aja bosan dan nggak pernah berhenti bosan.

Padahal malem ini masi hari natal dan seharusnya seneng-seneng atau kongko-kongko bareng mama dibawah.

Lalu gue iseng baca-baca Cafe, si majalah rohani. Sampai mata gue tertuju pada kalimat-kalimat kecil yang kadang suka ada tuh dibawah bacaan sabdanya.

Bunyinya kira-kira begini:

"Keluarga telah ditetapkan Allah sebagai 'persekutuan mesra kehidupan dan cinta kasih'.

Maka keluarga mengemban misi untuk makin mencapai jatidirinya;

yakni suatu persekutuan kehidupan dan cinta kasih"

Lalu gue mulai mikir. Ternyata peran keluarga itu besar dan penting. Semua-semuanya harus dilandasin asas cinta kasih (kayak asas-asas PPKN).

Apa artinya semuanya harus berdasarkan cinta kasih?

Setelah gue berpikir keras, muncul berbagai dugaan gue tentang kalimat-kalimat diatas.

Gue sadar, gue punya orang tua yang luar biasa. Walaupun si papah termasuk orang yang tergalak dunia kategori marah-marah, strict, tapi dia masih punya kasih.

Terkadang gue suka melawan kalo dia ngelarang gue ngapa-ngapain, tapi gue ngga pernah ngelawan kalo memang gue salah. Alhasil setelah gue bales segala ocehan-ocehannya, dia sadar kalo dia berlebihan dan segera baik-baikin gue lagi (karna beliau paling amat teramat suramat sebel to the max kalo gue lagi ngambekin beliau haha, maap yah Pa, sayang Papa kok! :D).

Kembali ke laptop.

Jadi gue ngerasa, segalak-galaknya ortu sama kita, mereka masih punya hati kecil yang pasti bikin mereka nggak tenang kalo suka marah-marah nggak beralesan. At last, mereka pasti disadarin lagi sama hati kecil itu untuk mengasihi dan ngertiin kemauan anak-anaknya. Dengan begitu kita juga nggak melanggar hukum Tuhan yang tentang "Taatilah Ibu Bapamu"(btw buat yang ini terms and condition apply. Cuman kalo kita benar.)

Si Mamah mungkin peranan yang paling gue kagumin. Beliau ngajarin gue untuk tetep respect sama si Papah, nggak peduli segalak apa beliau barusan #mukamerahmatamerahberurat-urat. Mamah selalu mau ngedukung gue kalo gue bener, tapi tetep Mamah suruh gue yang tanggung jawab ke Papah. Mamah tetep kasi masukan dan semangat, dan cara-cara jitu melunakkan hati Papah. Dan yang paling gue cinta dari Mamah, beliau selalu ngingetin gue buat berdoa dan berdoa dan berdoa. Obat yang paling manjur dari segala-galanya. Tetep berpengharapan penuh, karena nggak ada yang mustahil bagi Tuhan.

Begini kesimpulan yang gue tarik dari kalimat kecil Cafe diatas dan relasi dengan kehidupan gue.

Cinta kasih dalam keluarga itu adalah, saling mendukung, saling mengerti, saling membantu, saling menyemangati, dan saling membuka hati dan pikiran dari semua anggota keluarga, dan saling percaya. Yang terakhir adalah yang paling penting. Gue tau ortu selalu percaya sama gue, dan itu yang gue syukurin sama Tuhan. Apapun pilihan gue, sekolah kek, pacar kek, mereka selalu ngedukung dan ngajarin gue buat hargain semua orang.

Dari cinta kasih keluarga, otomatis orang-orang luar, temen-temen, dll pasti juga ada cinta kasih karena udah berakar dan dibina dalem lingkungan keluarga.

Iyak! Begitulah analisa gue stelah mikir panjang jungkir balik ngemil dan lain-lain. Sekian.

Love's Unending Legacy.

Been sitting on my couch all day, clicking the remote control, searching for good movies to kill time. Then I stopped at Fox Family Movies channel.
It showed The Cutting Edge: Fire and Ice at 12 pm. A film about a figure skating partner who fight together with their totally not one another personality, for which it can be said as a dog and a cat.
But at the end, they fall in love each other, manage to top their performance on ice and get the gold.

Another movie showed afterwards, and it's titled Love's Unending Legacy.
This probably be on my number one favourite movie of the month. It's a christianity-related movie, about a small family, a single mother with a 6 year-old child.
When she was about to go to the city, she stopped in front of the church, when there was an orphan adoption selection for the citizen in that village. She didn't intend to adopt one at first, but her heart told her to pick one little girl who was being left by another. She was 10 years old. Her brother had been taken by a family, who were heartless, beating him, and forcing him to work.

This little girl was a bit stubborn, and disliked the kind hearted woman who adopted her. But this woman kept giving her heart and love to her. The woman's biological boy was cute, and helped this girl although she acted uncooperative.
One day the little girl got busted, sneaking out the house at midnight and obviously she visited her brother and gave him food everyday. Knowing that, the woman decided to pick her brother to live with them, and kept him away from the cold hearted family.

They were involved in some matters that didn't allow them to take the boy from the family. This promised little girl decided to run away together with her brother. A sheriff from the town, who fell in love with the kind woman searched the entire place for the two siblings. It was midnight and stormy rain. He was almost desperate and he decided to pray to God, asking for a path that can lead him to the siblings. Right after that, he heard a voice from the little brother of the girl and he found them. He took them and brought them home to the woman's house, and the little brother was allowed to stay and under adoption of the kind woman.

This film surely teaches how to love, share, and have faith in God. Although the woman was very simple, didn't have much money, live in a minimum condition, she still accepted the little girl and give place and food for her to live. Not to mention, she offered the little girl a new warm family, together with her mother and father who love the woman and her kids.
She also learned how to let go, but still keep the feeling for his husband (who was already died) deep in her heart, and let her feeling grow towards another person who deserves her heart.

The story was a happy ending. She married the sheriff and lived with the 3 kids.

Mom didn't cook today for the reason of eating too much (kuli style) during these 2 days. Damn lazy to clean the rice and even to switch on the rice cooker.
I opened the freezer and found some treasures. Mom kept a dozen of soups that my Aunt brought from Holland last time.

My dinner came out to be Wholemeal Groente (Veggie) Soup hihihi.

Told you before that I just bought custard powder and some other cooking stuff. I tried to make a Chocolate Pudding with Fruit Custard Sauce.

Putting tons of cocoa powder to make it a bit bitter and a tablespoon of Jamaican Rum to the custard.

Currently browsing for more recipes from Nigella Lawson's website, one of my favourite cooks :) I'm thinking of baking some cookies for Christmas, hope it turns well.

Just got multiple random thoughts.

Worrisome for uni's results in 3 days. Please, be nice to me. This might not be the best semester, or should I say just 'okay', due to some stories I've told you in the previous post about how great my group mates are, for not submitting the big project or plagiarised things from wikis.

Another thought goes for the future. But hey, this is simply weird.

I keep thinking of what ingredients should I get from the supermarket to bake bread or cookies. The weird thing is this. I was kinda like dejavu to the future (don't know what exact words to describe this), imagining as if I were a mom, who has 3 kids, err say 2. Supermarket would be my favourite spot to hang around with my kids. My mind goes of what I should make for lunch and dinner for my future husband. I think so often about it currently, indeed.

Just like today, been hanging around with mums and paps to a big supermarket here, just like Coles and Woolies. I spent 45 minutes in the ingredients rack, whilst they browsed for soaps, shampoos, or detergents stuff. I came to them with eggs, flours, custard, milk, and cooking chocolate on my hands. What am I going to make next? Well, still a blur. But at least I got the core ingredients :P

Anywho, the last thought goes to how concern I am in my daily intake of food.

I've achieved the size that I desired of my body, and no more gain please. 3 kg is enough.

Currently excited for Jakarta! Yes, I finally succeed to make mumsie booked the tickets. Just the two of us.

And finally got a seat on SQ 225 flight back to Perth. Oh yieeyy! Got excited for no reason on travelling thingy. Perhaps the part of seeing the flight schedule board, or take off, or pushing the luggage trolley make the excitement? Not sure, but indeed, I love to fly :)

Liburan musim panas 2.

Liburan dilanjut dengan mulai dari ngikut mama dalam pelayanan komunitasnya, sampai berlatih musik di rumah. Ikut pelayanan mama lumayan seru walaupun isinya mamak-mamak above 50 hahaha.

Gw berlatih musik buat ujian piano tingkat terakhir, dan perjuangan terakhir seorang murid piano *belum diitung tingkat diploma dan tingkat-tingkat lain yang pastinya gw udah nyerah*

Selalu puyeng sama yang namanya mas Bach. Gw nggak suka lagu yang notnya rame-rame dan tumpang tindih :S

Habis latihan klasik, gw selalu nyoba menghafal chord-chord keyboard dari buku yang baru gw beli judulnya "Kamus Akor Keyboard" yang berisi 600 variasi chord, which is lebih ke kamus daripada buku buat belajar hahaha.

Pengennya bisa ngiringin buat choir, itung-itung pelayanan buat Tuhan juga :D

Anywho, kali ini gw nyobain bikin Chocolate Chip Pancake.

Mohon maap bentuknya rada kaya bakwan ya, tapi rasanya enyaak! Hihihi.

Sakin ngga ada kerjaannya di rumah gw kumpulin semua resep yang pernah gw isengin catet dari internet sewaktu di Oz.
Mohon maap kalo kue pertama temanya pisang lagi dan lagi karna gw nggak bisa hidup tanpa pisang hehe. #lebay

Gw kasi nama Banana and Choc Chip Muffin.
Secara pisang di Indo ngga segede pisang-pisang Oz yang ukuran jumbo, gw sampe pake 5 pisang baru kerasa. Tapi enak juga, syenang!

Hari ini gw bikin 2 macem. Brownies dan risoles.

Dapet resep dari www.taste.com.au tapi resep mama jauh lebih enak. Si mama baru ngasi resepnya waktu udah dibake. Still edible but too much sugar :(

Yang terakhir adalah Risoles, makanan khas nenek moyang gw. Resep mama memang juara dan ngga bisa ditemuin risol enak yang kaya mama dimana-mana hihihi.

Yang bikin risol ini beda, adalah campuran susu dan jamur. Isinya jadi lebih creamy kaya pasta :P

Udah seminggu di Medan, kampung halaman tercinta. Herannya kenapa pulang kali ini nggak begitu menarik dan se-eksaited tahun lalu pas masi CIC (secara gue masi baru dan beranggapan Perth itu super bosan dan sepi). Tapi ternyata semakin lama gue jadi cinta Perth. Hanya dalem setahun. Salah satu alasan mungkin karena ICYO dan kegiatannya yang bikin gue super betah hehehe. *kangen ICYO bak pacar seperti kata Mas Evan T.B.*

Anywho, gue bete to the max.
Setelah tiap hari mantengin website Garuda Indonesia buat tiket ke Jakarta kalo-kalo harga tiket masi murah, dan akhirnya udah naik tapi masi belum kebeli. Malahan bokap bilang nggak usah pergi dulu.

Terkadang gue bencikk sama diri sendiri, kenapa bisa terlalu lemah.

Kenapa nggak bisa tetep optimis sama hidup.

Kenapa terlalu banyak yang dipikirin dan suka mikir terlalu lebai.

Masalah-masalah dateng tepat selama semester ini. Jreng jreng. Nggak nanggung-nanggung semuanya. Mulai dari masalah group mate assignment yang mengancam kelulusan, sampai masalah lain yang nggak bisa disebutkan. Nggak keitung lagi berapa kali nangis sampe air mata udah kering dalam seminggu.

Untungnya masalah sekolah udah berakhir dan ini berkat *boleh gue bilang mukjijat nyata* dari Tuhan. Gue lagi duduk-duduk di Changi airport nunggu flight pulang dan tiba-tiba gue ngecek email dan gue dapet 0 buat projek gue. Betapa gue ngerasa hati gue remuk dan nggak ada masa depan lagi. Sambil nangis gue telepon nyokap dan dia cuman bilang "Yasudah gapapa, kamu udah berusaha kan yang penting? Yuk kita berdoa sama-sama skarang juga dan tetep yakin kamu lulus." Jawaban yang super simpel dan bikin gue kesel karna gue tau gue udah failed.

Tapi kuasa Tuhan itu besar ya, gue semaleman ngumpulin bahan assignment dengan bantuan Edward (tengkiu Wardoy bantuannya!), dan selesai jam 3 subuh langsung disubmit. Besok siangnya dapet email kalo tugas gue diapproved dan gue LULUS. Ngga pernah berenti gue mengucap syukur buat ini sama Tuhan, ternyata Tuhan masi sayang banget sama gue.

Untuk masalah yang satu..

Gue ngga tau apa memang udah berakhir sampai disini. Atau memang mungkin sudah. Memang gue sempet down dan masi sampai sekarang. Tapi gue tetep seneng dan bersyukur.

1st attempt: Banana Bread

Just successfully baked a banana bread :D

Well, since we got limited baking trays at home, I guess muffin tray will do.

Ingredients:

- 4 bananas

- self raising flour

- 1 egg

- 3 tbs melted butter

- 1 cup of milk

- caster sugar

Mix them all with a mixer and voila :) bake in a 160 C around 40 minutes.

Totally love it! Serve with ice cream, nutella, or chocolate spread :)

Exams were over, I wish the best for the results and just wanna say Congratulations! to the fresh bachelorettes soon-to-be Eveline and Indah :')

There will be a farewell for Odri in just a count of fingers, which would definitely, most probably makes my tears run down.

Couldn't say anything seeing the packed goods and things, except for my only prayer that goes along with her.

Another lesson to let me grow better and stay strong. Life is not as simple as fairy tales.

Although it's hard to struggle, sometimes we need to let it go.

I've done my best and I have no regrets at all :)

Haven't cooked a proper meal since assignments forced me to stay in front of the computer. So I just took out the leftover ingredients I had: frozen veggies, spam, spinach, Heinz shredded chicken, oatmeal, and soup.

Chicken and corn oatmeal with toast and parmesan.

Apple and sultana oatmeal with banana and maple syrup.

Nasi campur aduk dengan dada ayam Heinz.

Brokolli rebus dengan baked beans dan spam.

Nasi campur aduk lagi dengan spinach dan spam dan veggie lainnya.

Fettucini dengan ayam dan sisa spam dengan frozen veggie.

Assignments period has over, now final exams period has taken control. But will try to bake some cakes later and see how it turns out :)

Will be sitting an IELTS test in not more than 48 hours. Less than 24 hours to the speaking test section. OEMJI.

Thank God one assignment has been accomplished before it's due tomorrow. I can't breathe or think of having fun before the IELTS is completed. Gaaarrghhh. My brain ran out of battery. Three more assignments due after the IELTS, and followed by final exams. I desperately need holiday. Not to mention that there would be 2 exams in a day during final. Fed up with my tutor (the worst literature review mark I've ever received from him in my entire life).

Thinking of negative things such as the above only makes me, or even makes us fall into a deeper hole of depression, stress, and failure. I used to consider things like the above so complicated. But hey, there was something inside me that told me to just enjoy life. Enjoy the busyness, the stressful, the dreadful, the horrible assignments that I'm gonna face ahead. It reminds me again of how we don't walk and live alone in this world. I still have friends that definitely go through the same things as me. Yes, we have to gain spirit to get going with these stuff together.

Oh well, please note *I was practising for writing section for the IELTS when I wrote this post* Please pardon for any unclear or unrelated issues within.

Eniweiiii, forget about assignments and IELTS stuff for now. I'm arranging a schedule of what to do after this misery ends, which is the best part of pre-summer holiday :D

I was like, "Symphony sucks. Especially by Beethoven, I'll definitely fall asleep as soon as the music starts". Nonetheless, the music is pretty cool, ended with the Ode to Joy theme which is best known today. Excited!

I definitely have to get the popular Nasi Lemak. And expectantly, I get the chance to watch Jack & Rai live performance :)

It's been 3 years since the last visit to Jakarta. Kinda miss Donceeee, and needs to catch up with other ICYO friends in Jakarta. Yieeeyyyy!

Macaroooonnnnnsss!

After the long wait to have a chance to taste just a little piece of macaroon, I finally got 6 of them during window shopping at city today. Yieeyyy. Fell in love with the colours for the first time I saw them in 6 different varieties and I just bought all of them in each taste.

I'm not sure where the shop was, but it seemed to be at Kings Street hehe.

Just had a try on the chocolate and blueberry ones and yes, they taste really great. Crunchy outside, chewy and gooey in the inside :D

Have a stressful assignment or test ahead? Have a little taste of macaroons and your brain would work double since they are very sweet (hati-hati kelebihan gula dan menjadi aktif).

Hari Senin. Saya telat.

Kelas 1: 8am lecture

Udah bangun dari jam 6 pagi sampe 6.30. Habis itu tidur-tiduran dan kemulan dibawah selimut sampe ketiduran 15 menit dan alarm bunyi lagi jam 6.45. Gw snooze sampe bangun jam 7. Udah kebiasaan ga pernah tau jadwal bus di rumah lama, secara dari rumah lama tinggal ngesot udah nyampe ke bes stop.

Kelas 2: 1pm lab

Habis kepanasan jalan kaki pulang dari lecture, keasikan duduk-duduk di sofa *sofa disini bener-bener enak buat nyantai*. Sambil upload-upload foto dan akhirnya lupa waktu, sampe ngeliat jam udah pukul 12.35. Oemji untuk kedua kalinya telat lagi. Dan cobaan untuk jalan dibawah panas yang mega super duper terik dengan buku yang tebal harus dilewati lagi.

Akhirnya sampai di rumah dengan lemas en berkeringet. Tapii, senengnya perasaan waktu habis grocery shopping. Dengan segala cemilan dan makanan-makanan yang bakal gw abisin dalam waktu deket, mood malas kembali senang dan bersemangat lagi :D

Kaya cemilan semua ya kliatannya haha, tapi itu baru stengahnya kok. Belanja sayur, buah, dan daging akan dilaksanakan bsok. Eniweiii, gw pengin beli tempat roti baru since yang lama udah hilang entah kmana. Rupa-rupanya gw nemu sandwich bag yang super kiyutt, secara gw masi demen sama yang namanya elmo dan kawan-kawan.

Yieeyy dapet stickernya juga didalemnya :D *plak plak inget Sindi kamu udah umur berapa*.

Baiklah, sekian dulu untuk hari ini. Maap postnya rada tetot hari ini dikarenakan hari ini saya bener-bener tetot sampe bisa telat masuk kelas.

Gratefulness

It's been a while since the ICYO Retreat has ended. What an extraordinary experience I got for only 3 days, but yes, it changed me a lot. Big applause for the committees! You guys are awesome :) Never stop to keep saying thank you to God, for merging us all together and let us learn and keep believe in Him.

I just wanna say thanks to all of my friends, for keeping me busy and forgetting all my problems these few weeks.

For my very best friend "A" : Thanks for everything after what we'd gone through these 3.5 years. You know I won't put you away from my memory, you are the very first person I've been very deeply in love with. But I guess we can't make it to the very end. I'm sorry and please be yourself again, be the old you with all your jokes and coolness.

This post would be all about gratefulness. I can live alone and move on until now, all because of people around me right now. Huge thanks to ICYO for letting me to open my mind and learn more about friendship. Thanks to 'mamah' for keeping me strong hehe.

Saya resmi sembuh hari ini :) Cuman suara masi bindeng kaya bebek, plus batuk yang hampir reda hehe. Senangnya bisa sehat lagi, walaupun kemarin sempet takut sakit kambuh lagi. Buat yang masi sakit, gw doain biar sembuh sesembuh2nya :) Banyak makan buah, terutama jeruk, vitamin C, dan minum banyak air buat penurun demam.

Pikiran random malam ini: lagi2 tentang masa depan, walaupun gw masi ada 1 taon lagi waktu buat kuliah. Tapi khawatir untuk dapet pekerjaan dari skarang. Khawatir terus untuk takut ngejalanin semuanya sendirian, struggling sendirian. Semoga gw bisa dapet support atau dukungan dari seseorang untuk terus maju, juga waktu gw ksusahan sama mata kuliah gw yang minim banget :(

Tapi gw tetep yakin sama Tuhan, bakal dikasi kemudahan hehehe.

Hiyak, 4 hari lagi menuju retret, wishing a full speedy recovery for everyone. Tetap semangat skolah dan bekerja :)

End of the unproductive days

Yes, today is the last day of week break. I've been unproductively spending my times accompanied by flu and fever. Thanks to you guys for making my day bright and told me abandon my assignments. Omg, I really need help in my studies for I have played around and spent so little time for my studies during midnight :( well I'm struggling hard and trying all my best into it, and of course study is always my top priority *remembering how I loved to study BIS 100 in CIC last year, in which that spirit had vanished since I entered uni :'(*

Plan for the next whole week? Study, attend all labs and lectures, start doing the assignments (this is a total must). And I'm really looking forward to the retreat this Friday, yeah, it's this Friday *excited*. I'm also making a written promise to myself here to keep practicing music starting tomorrow, and keep doing productive and useful things for me and for others. Just like my friend Eli wrote in her blog, keep doing things with love :)

Just had my hair cut yesterday, thanks to Indah and Vita for accompanied me and patiently waited for me :')

And oh, just moved to the new venue and stayed with my 2 lovely housemates Wen2 and Odri :D let's rule and take care of the house together hihi.

It's nearly midnight, gotta back to my studies. Hopefully these loyal friends of mine would go away tomorrow, no more cough or fever pleaseeeee!

Tenggorokan sakit, demam, dan badan meriang :( penginnya tidur seharian di rumah, tapi mikirin harus pindahan dan belajar buat segala ketinggalan2 di uni. Untung ada njes dan adnan yang bantuin pindahan, makasiih ya! :D Bangun pagi ini teringet masi ada meja belajar, rak buku, dan piano yang masi harus dipindahin.

Udah minum obat batuk tapi masi berasa lemes dan rasanya malah makin demam. Huaaaaa :'(

Nafsu makan juga ga ada, walaupun lagi ngidem kebab curtin tapi ngebayangin makannya kok cape ya? Haha.

Kangen mama dan pengen banget rasanya manja2 di saat sakit.

Saturday ceria

The very first time I enjoyed the whole Saturday without worrying about work :P Well, my sister came to visit Perth from Kal last Friday with his bf. They decided to visit Subi and Freo, and asked me to come along. Note: sister ---> cashier. Then I gladly caught the train straight away to city. We had fun doing shopping at Freo, browsed for cheap-cute-unique stuff.

It was 3pm already and we had lunch at a place called Joe's Fish Shack at the harbour, next to Cicerello and Kaili's. Again, note: free lunch.

Chilli mussels

A-very-mucho delicious chilli mussels in Freo. Rich in taste and way better compared to Cicerello's or Kaili's.

Calamari Platter

Again, this calamari is just fantastic. It is almost similar like how mom cooks calamari rings at home.

Worth to try if you feel like eating fish and chips in Freo. Well, I could say this Saturday was awesome :)

Kinda miss my sister and yes, I admire her so much.

Haven't done grocery shopping these few days and I come with improper meal everyday :( It seems like I only consume oatmeal, bread, crumpets, and fruits lately. It's not that I'm in a diet, but well it couldn't be resisted hehe.

Random thought: How can apple's products be so addictive? Currently waiting for white iPhone 4 to be released. Or the new iPhone 5? Not sure. But somehow my mind took me to somewhere else related to DSLR. I've dreamt for it since long time ago, but nah. I'm not that good at photography, and I gotta save money more wisely :)

Here I am, locking myself alone in my room, no music playing, and no sunshine lighting my room. Haven't slept a wink since yesterday. Been crying all night without no one knew. Huge, never-unexpected things happen all of a sudden, which makes me unable to speak or explain anything to defend myself. I believe this is a trial from God, for me to become stronger and knowing that life is not that simple. I really never meant to hurt someone-I-love's feeling, but perhaps they're not the right words to express what I really mean. You are my friend, and you know I never meant to be fake, disrespect, or giving everything with return. I, sometimes feel offended with you and the others, but I never keep it in my thoughts. That's really who I am and I know exactly who I am.

I thank you, and always thank you for everything you've done for me this whole time since I knew you. I always care about you, about your health, about anything you mumbled about to me, and I always try to help you. Sorry if you think I didn't help or give any solves to your problems, but indeed, I've tried my very best. I really thank you, for spending your time just to help my love-life problems. And everything I've mentioned above are not pretence. That're all my true feelings towards you, and I envy you. So much.

It is up to you now, how you interpret my feelings. If you ever hated me so much, then I wanna say thousands of sorry to you. You may not think of me as your best bud, but I think of you as a wonderful and brilliant best bud I've ever had. Thanks for everything.

Buzybee week

Have slept less than 6 hours these days. Yes, akhir2 ini gw kurang tidur, bahkan tidurnya ga cukup setiap hari karna banyak assignment, dan hal2 lainnya yang waktunya semakin dekat. Dan yang paling ditunggu2, Retret ICYO ternyata sebentar lagi! Demi retret berjalan lancar, semua pasti dilakuin dengan senang hati dan tetap semangat, mulai dari fund raising tiap minggu, latihan music session, dan bagi temen2 yang jalanin puasa. Yakin kita pasti sukses nantinya :)

Di saat2 sibuk begini, belanja groceries juga udah jarang. Sampean cuman masak sayur mulu tiap hari, tanpa daging. Daging sisa 2 hari lalu cuman tinggal ayam.

Dinner hari ini: peas, corn, brocoli, and mushroom pake nasi putih. *rada kesian ya*

Omaigat, it's 3 am in the morning olredi. Tapi gw masi dipenuhi pikiran random super ga jelas, sambil browsing2 barang murmer di ebay. HIYAK! Tapi ini salah satu terapi menghilangkan rasa stres dan menjernihkan pikiran lagi, boleh dicoba bagi yang suka pernak pernik hp ato laptop :D

Random mood malem: dengerin musik slow pop, sambil ngebayangin nasib, inginnya punya keluarga yang kecil sederhana, tinggal di rumah deket millpoint ato sgala river2an sambil duduk2 bareng suami ngeteh ngederin lagu2 jazz atau jack & rai juga boleh :) malemnya makan sama2, sebelum tidur berdoa bareng, masakin suami buat bekal ke kantor dan membicarakan masalah2 yang ada sama2. (Udah ngomongin suami aja, pacar aja juga blum coba) *blushing2 hihi*

Baiklah, saatnya tidur. Bsok harus berjuang supaya tampil baik waktu iringin choir yang luar biasa indahnya di gereja :)

Awal yang baru

Bener-bener cuaca yg bagus hari ini, dingin, ditambah cerahnya matahari pagi dan siang tadi. Cuman tadi pagi bisa bisanya telat kelas, yang gurunya paling gw favoritin dan isi muridnya cuman 3 orang. Banyak banget tugas2 yg harus dibikin walaupun bukan assignment yg banyak, tapi peernya tiap minggu harus selesai. Jadi deh tidur jam stengah 4 tadi malem :(

Btw, ini hari ke2 sejak suatu keputusan udah dibikin. Berasa kayak mimpi, tapi sdikit lebih lega. Blum pernah ngerasain jadi single seblumnya, tapi gw harus tetep semangat dan terus berdoa semoga semuanya bisa lebih baik :)

Hari hari dilewati bersama Indah kembali, dan iyaaakkk saya merasa terhibur *walaupun akhirnya ga jadi bikin assenmen tadi siang, lol* Tapi thanks buat Indah, sudah memberi saran-saran yg mendukung. Thanks juga buat semua temen2, njess, eveline, dan semuanya. Setiap latihan choir itu paling semangat, gatau kenapa tapi senenggg aja bisa ketemu temen2 lagi, hihihi..

Oh iya, saya berjanji akan latihan main keyboard setiap hari supaya tidak mengecewakan, dan jika butuh bantuan apapun gw dengan senang hati pasti membantu. Hehehe..

Progress buat assenmen, yah sudah 80 persen. Assenmen yang menurut gw paling ga berguna ya, literature review which is worth 30%. Semoga kerja keras slama ini bisa sebanding sama hasilnya, bgitu juga dengan teman2 yg senasib sama gw. Semangat yaaa, kita bisa kalahin jarmanisme lol. Tapi assenmen tidak brakhir sampai disini, masi banyak grup assenmen lainnya yg worthnya bener-bener gede dan berpengaruh. Harus tetap semangat dan terus berdoa :)
